Purse/Bags with Zip Fastenings – Sewing Workshop Leisure and Professional

Course information

You will make a lined bag with a gusset, small loop handle at one end and a zip fastening. You may like to choose the size you make, or bring along your own choice of design to make.

You will learn how to make a handle, insert a zip, quilt your fabric, (optional), make piping, (optional), make a gusset, and produce a bag with a quality finish.

You will need to bring your sewing machine (with instruction booklet), as well as your general sewing kit, to include scissors, tape measure, ruler, dressmakers’ pencil, pins, unpicker, etc.

You will also need to bring your own materials, and you will be informed of the amounts nearer the date.

This is an ideal workshop for beginners through to experienced sewers.

This workshop runs on a Saturday from 10.00am to 3.30pm for 1 day.
